Hotel Antico Borgo San Martino, Riparbella

Hotel Antico Borgo San Martino is a significant and valuable example of neo renaissance architecture in a building which has been completely renovated, situated in the Tuscan countryside near the town of Riparbella. The beaches along the Marina di Cecina coast are approximately 7 km away and are easily reachable in only a few minutes. The suggestive historic centre of Riparbella is only 4 km away and is characterised by small streets and houses situated around the medieval castle. Thanks to its location, the hotel is the perfect choice for trips to visit the nearby artistic cities of Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca and Florence as well as for a trip to all the best beach resorts of the Etruschi coastline.

The hotel is spread between the period villa where the small exclusive hotel is situated, and a new building finished in a traditional Tuscan style where then new Superior rooms are located, as well as extensive parkland which surrounds the property and stretches as far as the nearby hillside. In the old farmer's houses which surround the main farmhouse, 24 original apartments have been located, all different from eachother in interiors where the old walls and original features have been maintained where possible.

The hotel has a spa with an indoor swimming pool various hydromassage jets, a welcoming relaxation area with comfortable cherry wood armchairs where guests can relax and take advantage of the herbal teas on offer, a Finnish sauna, a Roman bath, a massage area, a UVA sunbed and a small gym with state of the art equipment perfect for those who like to keep fit.

Guests have access to a conference suite, a games room, am outdoor area with children's play area, a private unsupervised car park, a barbecue area, 5 a side football pitches, a token operated laundry, a swimming pool for adults and children with umbrellas and sunbeds, table tennis, darts and a mini club open from 1st July to 31st August for children from the age of 4 to 11 years old.

For those staying in the apartments, a €100 fee is requested which must be paid on site for weekly use of bed linen, bathroom towels, electricity water and gas and final cleaning (not including the kitchenette which is the guests' responsibility or can be done by the staff for a supplementary fee of €25).
