Take the A4 Turin - Trieste motorway, and after Greggio, take the A26 motorway in the direction of Gravellona Toce and exit at Borgomanero. Continue along the SS229 for Borgomanero, Gozzano, and Orta.
From Rome:
Take the A1 Rome – Milan motorway, continue along the Tangenziale Ovest of Milan and then merge onto the A8 Milan - Varese Como motorway and successively the A26 Alessandria - Gravellona Toce motorway and exit at Arona. Continue along the SS229 for Borgomanero, Gozzano, and Orta.
From Losanna - Briga:
Take the Simplon Pass (Passo del Sempione) until arriving in Domodossola. From Domodossola, continue along the highway towards Milan and exit at Gravellona Toce, Omegna; follow the indications for Lago d'Orta.
