Hotel Terme di Caldana, Venturina

The Hotel Terme di Caldana is a typical Tuscan country house dating back to the 19th century located in Venturina in the heart of the thermal park just 5km from the sea surrounded by a network of archaeological and natural parks.

The hotel garden has a characteristic stone tub with natural water measuring 36°C and a swimming pool measuring 26°C with massage jets, creating a relaxing atmosphere surrounded by nature.

The difference in temperature between the two swimming pools facilitates “hot-cold-hot” treatments, which are excellent for circulation.

Around 900m away from the hotel there is a natural lake (temperature of 36°C) with a wellness centre that offers special rates; this is even available during the winter months.

The central location along the Etruscan Coast makes it easy for guests to take day trips to the artistic cities of Tuscany, such as Siena, Pisa, Volterra, Massa Marittima, San Gimignano and Florence.

Elba Island can also be reached in an hour from the Port of Piombino or by renting a sailboat from Marina di Salivoli (Piombino).

Guests can take a short drive to reach the mediaeval villages of Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci and Populonia.

The Strada del Vino (road of wine) takes wine lovers through the main vineyards and cellars of Val di Cornia, where they can purchase wine, oil and other typical products.

Bicycles are also available for guests to explore the area.

Recently renovated, the guest rooms offer a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere and are decorated in typical local style with period furnishings.

All of the guest rooms include a colour television, a telephone, a ceiling fan and an en suite bathroom.

Some of the guest rooms also include an empty minibar where guests can keep their own food.

Most of the rooms overlook the garden.
