The beautiful lounge is decorated with period furnishings, a piano and a number of sofas and armchairs, providing the perfect place to enjoy a delicious breakfast each morning or for an afternoon tea.

The continental breakfast is served from 7:30 to 10:30 each morning, with room service available upon request. Breakfast includes a selection of pastries, cakes, biscuits, corn flakes, muesli, cereal, butter, jam, Nutella, yoghourt, fresh bread, cheese, deli meats, fresh fruit, fruit juice, freshly squeezed orange juice, milk, coffee, cappuccino, a selection of tea, and still or sparkling water.

The lounge is often used for hosting cultural events and entertainment (concerts, book launches and readings, and art exhibitions).

In this charming environment, guests can relax and unwind with a good book or use the internet on their own computer by taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi access (wireless).

The terrace includes tables and chairs, and sofas where guests can relax outdoors. In the spring and summer, guests can enjoy their breakfast served at the table or unwind outdoors throughout the rest of the day.

The terrace is currently undergoing renovations. It will be open again May 2011.

By car

Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Napoli Centro – Via Nuova Marina exit. Take Via Reggia di Portici and then take Via Nuova Marina. After around 2 km, turn right onto Via Porta di Massa and follow the directions for Via Mezzocannone. Take Via Mezzocannone, turn left at the third cross street, Via De Marinis, follow the directions for Autoparcheggio Santa Chiara and then park. Outside of the parking lot, turn right and after 40m, turn right again onto Via San Giovanni Maggiore Pignatelli. The hotel entranceway is located at street number 15, less than 100m away on the left.

Fixed rate for parking: € 25.00 for stays of 24 hours.

Parking hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 24:00; Sunday and holidays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 20:00 to 24:00.

By train

From Naples Central Station in Piazza Garibaldi, take the taxi serviced with a fixed rate to hotels in the historic centre of € 10.00.

Hotel limousine service should be requested to hotel staff at least 24 hours prior to the date of arrival. The fee for this service is € 25.00 and the travel time is around 15 minutes.

By plane

From Naples – Capodichino International Airport, take the taxi service with a fixed rate for hotels in the historic city centre of € 20.00.

Hotel limousine service should be requested to hotel staff at least 24 hours prior to the date of arrival. The fee for this service is € 35.00 and the travel time is around 30 minutes.

From the airport, the Alibus service is also available with departures every 30 minutes (cost of € 3) direct to Naples Central Station or to Piazza del Municipio.

From one of these stops, take the number R2 bus and get off at the Corso Umberto stop, which is on the corner of Via Mezzocannone.

Follow the directions for Via Mezzocannone, take the third street on the left, Via De Marinis, and upon reaching a small piazza, take the lane that goes uphill on the right, Via San Giovanni Maggiore Pignatelli.

By boat

From Naples Beverello Pier, taxi service is available for an approximate fee of € 8.00.

From Porta di Massa Pier, taxi service is available for an approximate fee of € 6.00.
