Beach use is limited to an area neither near the sea or restaurants (although not far) this is not ideal if you have children.

Ogólny Opis Hotelu
The Best Western Grand Hotel Royal in Viareggio with its unmistakable tower architecture is located directly on the sea in the heart of Versilia.
Inaugurated in the early 20th century, it was the home of European nobility and was a centre of Versilian culture. It is currently one of the most impressive examples of Art Nouveau style architecture in Italy and has maintained a timeless atmosphere while successfully combining history with modern, functional services.
The long path full of shops is found in front of the hotel while to the back, it borders on the beautiful green Pineta di Ponente forest, the site of numerous athletic events and recreational activities for children.
The Grand Hotel Royal is the only hotel in Viareggio with a semi-Olympic swimming pool surrounded by a spacious, well-manicured garden with sunbeds and umbrellas where guests can relax.
Guests of the hotel can easily drive (or take public transportation) to the most famous artistic cities in Tuscany: Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra, Vinci, Pietrasanta, Camaiore, Carrara (Cave), and other famous towns, such as Collodi with Parco di Pinocchio, Pistoia with the zoological garden, Torre del Lago with Casa Natale di Giacomo Puccini and the exclusive town of Forte dei Marmi with its famous market and 18 hole golf course.

The guest rooms are comfortable and are decorated in a classic style. They are all equipped with a minibar, a safety deposit box, an LCD satellite television, Sky TV, a set for preparing hot beverages, and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer.
Most of the rooms have a breathtaking front or side view of the sea.
Some of the guest rooms can accommodate cradles for small children or additional beds for a supplementary fee.
The hotel also has suites, including the Torrette, which provide guests with a lovely 360° view of the coast from a height of 30m (no balcony).
Suite Puccini is located on the first floor and has a large Jacuzzi tub, as well as an exclusive terrace measuring 50 square metres.

The dining room is located on the ground floor and the Maitre D, with his staff, guides guests through the delicious items on the daily menu.
Delicious regional cuisine can meet any needs that guests may have and varies according to the seasonal products that the land and sea of Tuscany have to offer.
The wine cart includes a selection of exclusive Italian labels.
Dinner is served from 19.30 to 21.00
During the summer (July and August), guests can enjoy their meal outdoors overlooking the park.
The bar is open from 10:00 to 24:00 (approximately), providing the ideal place to relax with a delicious aperitif or refreshing cocktail prepared by the expert barman.
From May to September, a delicious brunch and snacks are served next to the swimming pool, along with drinks and ice cream.
Brunch is available from 12:00 to 16:00.
The indoor bar opens at 18:00.
