Hotel Carmencita, Capri

The Hotel Carmencita is a welcoming hotel found in the centre of Capri on the slopes of Monte Solaro, conveniently located near the main sites of the island, such as Grotta Azzurra, the Church of San Michele, Villa Axel Munthe (with the archaeological remains of Villa Jovis of Emperor Tiberio), the Faraglioni, and numerous other natural and cultural attractions.

Recently renovated, the hotel is managed directly by the owners with courtesy and professionalism.

The beautiful location and peaceful atmosphere has made it a popular choice over the years for tourists from around the world.

The hotel can easily be reached from the port of Capri by bus, taxi, or the transport service offered by the management.

Guests have access to a modern mosaic swimming pool (for adults and children) open from May to September, a spacious garden, a bar with a wide range of products (including local Limoncello), an internet station, a shuttle service to and from the port of Marina Grande, parking, a reservation service to travel around the island and to visit the famous Grotta Azzurra di Anacapri, and special discounts arranged with restaurants and swimming pools close to the hotel. Our staff are also pleased to book scooter rentals and baggage transport to the port upon request.

The shuttle service to and from the port is available part time for a fee. Guests should specify by phone their time of arrival before boarding the boat at Capri.

The hotel is not wheelchair accessible.

The guest rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with a terrace, air conditioning (free in the Standard rooms), a telephone, satellite colour television, and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer.

Cleaning and linen changes are carried out daily, and laundry and ironing service is available for a fee.

The Superior rooms have a lovely view of the swimming pool and air conditioning available for a fee.
