By car

To get to the Pozzuoli port:

From the Naples toll booth continue for 25 km, take the Tangenziale and continue towards Pozzuoli, take exit n. 12, Via Campana and follow directions to the port.

To reach the Beverello jetty:

From the Naples toll booth continue for 25 km and take the Napoli Via Marina exit. Continue following directions to ‘Porto – Imbarco per le isole’.

By ferry or hydrofoil

Ischia Island can be reached from the following ports:

- Pozzuoli port with Pozzuoli or Caremar ferries.

Beverello jetty, with Lauro, Snav or Caremar ferries or hydrofoils or alternatively Mergellina jetty, with hydrofoil.

From the 23rd of June to the 10th of September Ischia can be reached directly from Rome with particularly good prices, due to the combined bus + hydrofoil services offered. For information and bookings please contact the ‘Isola Online’ agency in Rome.

By train

The ports of Naples can be reached from four railway stations:

- Mergellina station, located about 200 meters from Mergellina port.

- Campi Flegrei Station, connected to Mergellina port (3 km) by taxi, bus, tram or subway services.

- Central Station in Piazza Garibaldi, connected to the port of Naples Beverello (4 km) by taxi, bus and tram services.

By plane

From the Napoli Capodichino airport, the two ports of Naples can be reached by taxi in about 20 - 30 minutes; a bus line (ANM Alibus) also runs a service to the Beverello port of Naples, leaving every 30 minutes from 05:50 AM to 11:30 PM.
