The Restaurant Taverna Etrusca, located in the beautiful Piazza del Pretorio at a distance of 300 metres from the hotel, proposes an original and creative re-examination of Tuscan cuisine, in an environment that is refined and intimate and is the ideal setting for tasting the locally selected products accompanied by a rich wine selection.

The chefs, using the best offers of the season from this generous territory, elaborate their proposals with knowledge and fantasy, creating menus that are always varied and stimulating and presented with a final touch of elegance.

The bar is located in the hotel and is open all day.

In the breakfast room, it is possible to admire the Finnish medieval ruins that are conserved in view by a crystal slab floor covering.

The Bourbon Del Monte palace, an impressive building from the 16th Century that is located in Piazza del Pretorio, is at the service of the Restaurant and the Pyrgos Hotels for all occasions of “representation” such as private dinners, appetizers, birthdays and small parties.

Furthermore, it is also used as the location for small conventions and classes.

By car

From the North West:

Take the A12 motorway in the direction of Sud and successively the SS1 Aurelia until km 150,5 (Albinia). Follow the indications for Manciano, then the indications for Sovana. (Pay attention on the SS1: do not follow the indications for Manciano to the location of Grosseto because the journey from Scansano is by means of a mountainous road).

From Rome (Aurelia area) and Fiumicino:

Take the A12 motorway in the direction of Nord, and successively the SS1 Aurelia until Km 111, junction for Vulci. Follow the indications for Manciano, and then the indications for Sovana.

From Rome North:

Take the A1 motorway and exit at Orte; follow along the Expressway for Viterbo, exit at Cassia Nord, and then successively along the SS2 Cassia until km 88; follow the indications for Valentano, then for Pitigliano, and Sovana.

From Rome North (without motorway):

Take the SS2 Cassia until 69,3; first follow the indications for Tuscania, then for Piansano, Valentano, Pitigliano and Sovana.

From Orvieto:

Take the SR71 in the direction of Montefiascone - Viterbo until km 17, and merge onto the SR74. First follow the indications for San Lorenzo Nuovo, then for Pitigliano, and Sovana.

From Florence:

From the A1 motorway, exit at Firenze - Impruneta; follow along the Expressway until Siena Sud, and successively along the SS2 Cassia in the direction of sud until km 146.7. First follow the indications for Sorano, and then for Sovana.

Alternatively, from the A1 motorway, exit at Chiusi; follow the indications for Chianciano, and successively the indications for the SS2 Cassia; proceed along the SS2 Cassia in the direction of sud until km 146.7; first follow the indications for Sorano, and then for Sovana.

By air

The airport of reference is represented by the "Leonardo da Vinci" international airport of Rome - Fiumicino.
