UNA Palazzo Mannaioni, Montaione

The renowned De' Mannaioni restaurant set in the old mill has an illuminated groined ceiling composed of a spectacular sequence of brick vaults deserving special attention.

The chef prepares typical dishes from Tuscany, adapted in a modern style but with great respect for tradition.

In high season, guests can taste some excellent wines in the prestigious wine bar set in the cellars of the hotel (with original barrel vault ceilings), where private lunches and dinners can also be organised.

The restaurant leads out to the garden and swimming pool where staff serve delicious cocktails or quick snacks from a well-stocked pool bar to guests who wish to enjoy hours of relaxation by the pool, maybe after visiting some of the most beautiful cities of art in Tuscany.

UNA Palazzo Mannaioni has a conference and meeting centre composed of two well-equipped meeting rooms: Sala Clemente, a multipurpose room seating 85 people, and Sala Lina, with a single boardroom table, seating 16 people. Specialised staff are available to assist clients with any conference needs.

Sala Clemente can be set up with a theatre style layout (85 places), a horseshoe style layout (40 places) or a schoolroom style layout (45 places). It is equipped with a video projector, a flip chart, stationery, microphones, a public-address system, videoconference facilities, a Wi-Fi Internet connection, a booth for simultaneous translation and audio/video recording facilities.

Sala Lina, with a boardroom table seating 16 people, is equipped with a colour TV socket, telephones, a Wi-Fi Internet connection, a flip chart and stationery.

By car

From Milan:

Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Firenze Scandicci exit. Take the Firenze - Pisa – Livorno clearway to the Ginestra Fiorentina exit, then follow the signs for Montespertoli, Castelfiorentino, Montaione, proceeding for about 30km.

From Rome:

Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway towards Florence to the Bettole exit. Follow the signs for Siena, and after about 50km, take the Siena –Firenze clearway, leaving at the Poggibonsi Nord exit. Follow the signs for San Gimignano and then for Castelfiorentino, Gambassi Terme. Before reaching Gambassi Terme, turn left for Montaione. The hotel is about 20km away from the clearway.

From Genoa - La Spezia:

Take the A12 motorway towards Livorno, Pisa Centro – Aeroporto exit. Take the Firenze - Pisa – Livorno clearway, leaving at the San Miniato exit. Continue towards Ponte a Egola, turn left towards Montaione at the traffic light in the town centre. Go past the La Serra and Corazzano districts and upon reaching the hamlet of Alberi, turn left towards Montaione.

By train

From Florence Santa Maria Novella Station, take the Pisa-Livorno train getting off at Empoli, then proceed by taxi (about 25km).

Alternatively, from Santa Maria Novella Station, take the Lazzi-Sita bus service that runs once a day. For information, please refer to the Lazzi offices in Piazza Adua, facing the station.

By plane

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, take the Ponte dell'Indiano viaduct, then take the Firenze - Pisa – Livorno clearway, leaving at the Ginestra Fiorentina exit. Follow the signs for Montespertoli, Castelfiorentino and Montaione, proceeding for about 30km after leaving the clearway at the Ginestra Fiorentina exit.

From Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport, take the Firenze - Pisa – Livorno clearway, leaving at the San Miniato exit. Continue towards Ponte a Egola and turn left towards Montaione at the traffic light in the town centre. Go past the La Serra and Corazzano districts and upon reaching the hamlet of Alberi, turn left for Montaione.
