Albergo molto datato, con personale anch'esso datato. La camera aveva mobilio vecchio e il bagno al posto del box doccia aveva una tenda. Colazione scarsa con prodotti tipo yogurt e formaggini spalmabili che non vengono tenuti in piani refrigerati. Aspetto dell'intera struttura poco piacevole, andrebbe data una bella sistemata per far sì che somigli più ad un albergo e non ad una casa privata in cui si affittano camere, anche perché per il prezzo che si paga ci si aspettano adeguati standard.

I enjoyed my stay in Scala. Only comment on the from is that an awning over the small balcony would help keep some of the sun off the room in the morning.. The pool was great! Staff were friendly and helpful. Close enough to the town centre to enjoy a walk to the piazza and a coffee/ drink/ gelato depending on the time of day.. Lots of good walks down the many scala for those wanting to vist nearby towns by foot. Bus services not bad.

The best thing about this hotel is the view on Ravello which is truly breathtaking in the morning! We booked a room with sea view and we got a quite nice and spacious one, although you don't get to see much of the sea. There is no air condition which was not really a problem even around August 15, because of the altitude of the hotel I guess, but I can't say what will be the case on a really hot day or in winter. Breakfast was typical, served on a veranda with the same spectacular view, so you'll enjoy it anyway together with an amazing sense of serenity. The staff were very helpful and swift, just the kind you'd want on your holiday, and you truly get 24h service due to heavy traffic we arrived after midnight (we informed them about our late arrival) and a most kind signore was there to help us with everything: the parking space, our luggage, our rooms. The distance to Amalfi is about 20 minutes by car on a narrow, winding road (as they all are in the area) and you might want to have some medicine, if there is some issue beware of locals on bikes, they ride like the wind! All in all, impressions are very good and I'd definitely go back to Zi' Ntonio. It is rather impossible that you'll find a price like this (110 euro for a double room) in all the Amalfi coast.

The room was comfortable, but there is no air conditioning!! The bathroom was very clean but a bad smell came from the toilet.
