As a person that travels at least 3 times a month, I have stayed in every major city in the world. The Dore' hotel needs to improve tremendously. The staff is very critical of American tourists, and in particular a young lady working in the hotel was quite rude to me on my stay. The included breakfast is terrible, from the lukewarm coffee to the stale prepackaged factory made pastries. The juice was of a type that is indescribeable, I do not know to this day what strange tasting fruit it might be. All in all, my stay was very bad.

Air conditioning was broken and it was very hot, because of that, we did not sleep well. Of the 5 hotels I stayed during my vacation in Italy, hotel Dore was the one we liked the least. The staff was not as nice as in the other hotels we went to. The place is also remote from the main attractions so you need to take the bus or metro or walk a few kilometers.

We had two issues:
1) When we arrived, the bathroom in our room had a very bad smell. It was hard to use the bathroom, but thankfully it went away after a couple hours.
2) Our security pull-down to our door that went to the terrace kept breaking. It got to the point where everytime we would try to move it up or down, it would break and fall. Someone had to keep coming in to fix it. Eventually, he did something to where it didn't break anymore, but i was still irritated with the fact that we had to call someone every 30 minutes so we could go outside.
Other than those two issues, we had a great stay. The front desk man was very accomidating, and we appreciated everything he did for us.
