Reviews Hotel La Palma - Stresa

Service archi-minimum; le personnel n'est pas du tout attentionné et les prestations élémentaires. Connections à internet payante (et au prix le plus élevé que nous ayons jamais rencontré). Nous avions connu cet hôtel il y a une dizaine d'années, sous une autre direction, de toute évidence. Nous n'y retournerons pas.

The bar services and breakfasts were good. We only took one dinner in the hotel and were disappointed by the food and the service.

From our room we had a fantastic view of the lake and islands, but the room itself was tiny. The staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was okay.

We liked everything about the Hotel. The position is amazing with great views from the rooms at the front. The rooms have recently been refurbished and the bathroom in particular was well designed and expensively fitted. The swimming pool is on the lake front and the solarium back at the hotel is peaceful alternative for a dose! The staff especially in reception were very helpful. The Hotel is also well positioned being within easy walking distance of the main part of the town. We suggest that a more effort is put into breakfast which was a little uninteresting and did not change at all during our five day stay.

The balcony was not cleaned

Great hotel, perfectly located. Great pool. Large room with double balcony and amazing view over the lake. It's always a risk to book via internet, but La Palma was everything that it promised if not more.

Zimmer sind sehr schön, vor allem der Blick auf den See und die davor liegende Promenade. City schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Ansonsten ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ein ausgesprochen schlechtes Frühstück! Überwiegend ältere Gäste, wir sind Mitte 40 und hatten das Gefühl wir sind in einer Seniorenresidenz, also unter 60 ( ! ) passt das einfach nicht.

We were delighted with the hotel...it's surroundings and the excellent friendly service. The only thing that was not good was the fact that the swimming pool was not ready for use when we arrived...but we used the lovely solarium on the top floor and that was fine.
