General Description
Agriturismo La Collina delle Stelle is set in a period building dating back to the 1600's, situated in the Casentino valley, an ancient land of unmistakable charm in the province of Arezzo, conveniently located near the Verna Sanctuary and The Holy Hermitage and Monastery of Camaldoli and the medieval villages of Poppi, Bibbiena, Pratovecchio and Stia.
From here guests can admire the beautiful untouched natural landscape, the Romanesque churches and the eco-museums dotted around the surrounding area. The agritourism is the perfect choice for those wanting to discover the area's famous artistic cities like Arezzo, Florence and Siena.
Guests have access to 300 hectares of meadows and woods which back on the the Foreste Casentinesi national park as well as a TV lounge, a large rustic lounge for relaxing, reading and chatting in, a splendid swimming pool and a children's play area with rides, a cow shed, horse stables, pig sty and donkeys as well as a caravan park with 8 pitches.
The costs for the final cleaning of the apartments must be paid onsite. According to the apartment's size the costs range from a minimum of € 30 to a maximum of € 55.
To complete the list of guest services is a spa with a Finnish sauna, a Turkish bath, an infra-red sauna, a sensory shower, a hydromassage area and a relaxation area (subject to a supplement). The opening times are from 15:00 to 20:00 o'clock.
You also have the possibility to use an arena to do horse or donkey riding for children.

The agritourism has rooms that sleep from 2-3-4 people and apartments that sleep from 2-4-5-6-7 people.
All the accommodation is decorated in Tuscan "arte povera" style and features a colour television and an en suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer.
The apartments feature a kitchen diner with a fireplace and beautiful views over the surrounding valley.
Every room has an own name and specific features that make each one unique.

Restaurant and bar
Breakfast features a sweet and savoury buffet whilst the main dishes include meat reared on site, home made pasta, seasonal vegetables grown in the organic orchards and certified by the agritourism itself as well as delicious and fresh home made cakes prepared on site. During the Summer, rustic appetizers are served in the main garden among the fresh air of the shading marine pine trees.
We also have meals without gluten.

From the A14 Bologna - Taranto motorway take the exit for Cesena Nord. Take the E45 road towards Roma. Exit at Bagno di Romagno and follow signs for Bibbiena, cross the Mandrioli mountain pass with the SS71 state road. Once you reach Bibbiena, look for the hospital (the only one in the area) which is opposite the SS208 state road, at the 7th kilometre, you will see signs for the agritourism (on the left)
From the A1 Milano - Napoli motorway, take the exit for Firenze Sud. Follow signs for Pontassieve on the SS70 state road and take the Consuma pass. Follow signs for Poppi and then for Bibbiena. Once you reach Bibbiena, look for the hospital (the only one in the area) which is opposite the SS208 state road, at the 7th kilometre, you will see signs for the agritourism (on the left)
From the A1 Napoli - Milano motorway, take the exit for Arezzo. Pass through the Arno valley along the SS71 Umbro-Caseninese state road towards Bibbiena. Once you reach Bibbiena, look for the hospital (the only one in the area) which is opposite the SS208 state road, at the 7th kilometre, you will see signs for the agritourism (on the left)
By train
From Arezzo train station take the Casentino train to Bibbiena station. From here take the bus for Chiusi della Verna which stops outside the Agritourism.
From Florence Santa Maria Novella station take a SITA bus to Firenze-Bibbiena.
By plane
