Agriturismo Quercia Rossa, Manciano

The Agriturismo Quercia Rossa is an elegant country resort found in Maremma just a short distance from Terne di Saturnia. It is an excellent place from which to explore southern Tuscany and Umbria. The beaches of Monte Argentario, Capalbio, Pitigliano, Montemerano, Sovana and the waterfalls of Saturnia where guests can relax enjoying a massage or the thermal baths are all located close by.

The guest rooms all have a private entrance and include a bathroom, a television, a DVD player, a safety deposit box and a minibar (air conditioning is available upon request).

The guest rooms have beautiful furnishings from the Tuscan villa that belonged to an English traveller from the Victorian era named Augusta Belloc, who moved to Italy before the First World War. The furnishings consist of neo-renaissance beds, Murano glass lamps, bronze sconces and antiques brought back from exotic trips.

In the middle of the olive orchard, there is a beautiful swimming pool from where guests can take in the breathtaking view of the Tuscan hills.

Friendly staff are always on hand to organise excursions and horseback riding trips or to assist guests in renting boats or mountain bikes.

The Superior guest room has a private entrance, an en suite bathroom with a bathtub, a refrigerator, heating, a television and an electronic safety deposit box. The bedroom has a double bed but one or two single beds can be added. The décor in the bedroom came from a fund of furnishings that belonged to the English traveller Augusta Belloc, who moved to Tuscany at the beginning of the XX century and includes a neo-renaissance style bed, bronze lamps and conces made from Murano glass. The guest room has a lovely panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.
