Scilla Hotel is located in Sovana, in a very small old village in the Tuscan Maremma, considered one of the “one hundred most beautiful villages of Italy”, a “jewel of the Etruscan civilisation” and the "patrimony of mankind”.
The hotel, set in the medieval Palazzo dell’Archivio and partly in the Scuderie (stables) of Palazzo del Pretorio, is welcoming and friendly, ideal for a really relaxing and comfortable holiday.
The recently renovated hotel has 15 rooms, a large private car park and cocktail garden, theme evenings and tastings of typical local products.

How to reach the hotel
•From Milan take the “Autostrada del Sole” motorway to Orvieto (444 km.) proceeding along the “SS71” and “SS74” roads for a further 54 km. to Pitigliano and Sovana.
•From Florence take the Florence – Siena clearway, leaving it when you reach Siena, taking the junction for Via Cassia in the direction of Rome to San Lorenzo Nuovo (VT). Take the “SS74” road in the direction of Grotte di Castro (VT) for 30 km. to Pitigliano and Sovana.
•From Rome - Fiumicino: take the A12 Rome – Civitavecchia motorway, proceed along Via Aurelia to Montalto di Castro, Canino, then Valentano, Pitigliano and Sovana; alternatively, take Via Cassia to Viterbo, running alongside Lake Bolsena to Valentano, then proceed along the “SS71” and “SS74” for 20 km. to Pitigliano and Sovana.
•From Livorno or Grosseto take the “SS1 Aurelia” road to Albinia, leave at the junction for the “SS74” road in the direction of Manciano; after 18 km. you will arrive at Pitigliano and Sovana.
