General Description

The B&B Country House Poggio is located in Poggio del Drago, the last corner of the comune of Civitella in Val di Chiana.

Found in a historic country house dating back to the 19th century, the B&B Poggio del Drago ensures comfort and modern surroundings while maintaining the typical rural architecture of its origins.

The farmhouse is two storeys tall and is surrounded by the beautiful nature of a park with historic olive and oak trees. The lower floor has a spacious common area used for breakfast, while the upper floor has welcoming guest rooms perfect for relaxation.

The lovely outdoor swimming pool is surrounded by a lovely garden with jasmine, climbing roses and aromatic plants, such as lavender and rosemary.

Guests can go on excursions through beautiful nature and easily reach the artistic cities and magnificent villages in the surrounding area.

Friendly staff are pleased to recommend gastronomic tours through the surrounding towns where guests can enjoy delicious dishes of typical Tuscan cuisine.

By car

Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole Milano – Napoli motorway to the Arezzo exit. Head towards Arezzo to the Ponte a Chiani exit and take the SP69 provincial road towards Montevarchi, go past Pieve a Maiano and continue for around 2km until reaching the sign for B&B Poggio del Drago (the last 600m of the street are not paved).

The B&B is located around 10km from the motorway tollbooth.

From Arezzo:

Follow the directions for Pieve a Maiano, go past Pieve a Maiano, and after Km 2, turn left following the directions for the B&B.

By plane

The local airport is Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport.
