Country Hotel Relais Torre Santa Flora is a beautiful historic residence in Subbiano found in a charming location between the Tuscan hills and the Arno river.
The resort consists of the medieval tower of Santa Flora e Lucilla and a 17th century villa that was once a rest stop for travellers and horsemen.
The tower that once housed the flour mill currently has 4 elegant Junior Suites equipped with every comfort and a sophisticated design.
The renaissance villa has 11 spacious guest rooms decorated in typical Tuscan style, equipped with modern and convenient facilities.
The lovely restaurant also has a well-stocked bar and an elegant wine bar; the room with the fireplace provides an ideal atmosphere to relax and unwind, and can also be used for special events or meetings.
The swimming pool and the summer terrace are located between the tower and the villa in the romantic atmosphere of the botanical garden.
Guests can go horseback riding, take advantage of the range of treatments found at our wellness centre, organise private or company events and participate in our entertainment activities (like the role playing murder mystery weekend).
Torre Santa Flora is only 12km away from Arezzo, the beautiful medieval Etruscan city where the Oscar-winning film La Vita è Bella was filmed.

The 17th century villa has 11 spacious guest rooms (16 - 22 square metres) available as double rooms for single use, double or twin rooms.
All of the rooms are equipped with heating and air conditioning, free wireless internet access, and satellite television with a flatscreen TV.
Seven guest rooms have an en suite bathroom with a shower; the other four have a bathtub with a shower.
An additional single bed can be added upon request in five of the 11 rooms.
The medieval tower provides luxurious hospitality in four Junior Suites (measuring 28 – 35 square metres) with a view of the Arno river and the surrounding hillsides.
The rooms are decorated in typical Tuscan renaissance style and are equipped with heating and air conditioning, free wireless internet access, satellite television with a flatscreen TV, and an en suite bathroom with a massage bathtub.
Additional beds are available upon request.

The bar and restaurant have 5 elegant dining rooms with a country atmosphere, as well as a summer terrace overlooking the medieval tower.
The kitchen prepares the most typical flavours of Tuscan tradition, with particular focus on dishes from Valle Casentinese and the towns nearby.
The extensive menu includes top grade meats and fresh produce that varies seasonally.
All of the dishes are accompanied by an excellent selection of fine wines from our Enoteca.
Description of Conference and Meeting Facilities
There is a room available with a typical Tuscan fireplace that can comfortably accommodate business meetings and other events of up to 30 people.
During the warm months, the summer terrace with a canopy can be set up for special events of up to 130 people.

By car
From Milan or Rome:
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Arezzo exit. Head towards Arezzo, Bibbiena and Parco Foreste Casentinesi. Turn onto the SR71 Casentinese state road and continue to the Castelnuovo exit (around 1.5km after the Macena exit).
Follow the directions for Subbiano for 1.8km.
By train
From the Arezzo railway station, take the L.F.I. line to the Subbiano station.
Transportation service provided by the hotel is available upon request for a fee.
