General Description
The Grand Hotel Villa Balbi is set in a marvellous villa dating back to the 1600's, located along the promenade in Sestri Levante opposite the famous Baia delle Favole.
The hotel is situated in the centre of town, immersed in approximately one hectare of historic parkland, among rare old plants including a beautiful camphor. The park is separated from the historic town centre's pedestrian area by a high wall which surrounds the property.
The most prestigious rooms are situated in the old Villa, some feature a view over the park and some have a view over the Baia delle Favole.

The double, triple and Junior Suites all come with double beds which can be separated to form twin rooms.

Restaurant and bar
The Il Parco restaurant, immersed in the splendid garden, surrounded by the historic flora which provides cool shade to the outdoor area and the terrace during the Summer, is situated directly on the fine sandy beach, in front of the Villa's main entrance. The restaurant serves excellent cuisine including local specialities featuring the best Ligurian dishes and top quality Italian seafood.
The American Bar, which was once the original noble Genovese owner's billiard room, is situated in the Villa. The interiors evoke the splendour of a time gone by in an atmosphere representing the Villa's historic past, alongside modern, functional facilities. The hotel interior provides a pleasant corner where guests can relax surrounded by rich decor whilst outside they can sit in the shade admiring the promenade before them.
Description of Conference and Meeting Facilities
The hotel has 5 meeting rooms which can seat between 10 and 280 people, two of which are located in the Villa.
Featuring state-of-the-art technical equipment, the rooms can be set up in a variety of styles based on client needs: conference style, horseshoe style, school desks or cabaret style.
