General Description
Hotel Hermitage is located in Poggio a Caiano and is only 18 km away from the artistic attractions of Florence; 6 km from Prato and 3 km from Macrolotto industrial area; 16 km from Pistoia and its nurseries; 12 km from Quarrata (production of handmade furniture).
The hotel is set in a quiet, residential area, on a panoramic hill close to the beautiful Villa Medicea Ambra, built for Lorenzo Il Magnifico in 1479.
Hotel Hermitage is ideal for both business guests and tourists.
The hotel has 5 single rooms, 53 twin/double rooms and 2 junior suites.
A few minutes drive away are Carmignano (where you can visit the famous “Visitazione” of Pontormo), the medieval village of Artimino and some of the best farms producing wine and olive oil in Montalbano.

A11 motorway
”PRATO OVEST” EXIT
After the toll station keep to the right in the direction of “PRATO CENTRO”.
At the roundabout go straight on (in the direction of “PRATO CENTRO-POGGIO A CAIANO”) for about 1.7 km. until you reach a second roundabout and then turn right in the direction of Poggio a Caiano. Continue straight on for about 6 km. (you will pass a traffic light, a bridge, some roundabouts, another bridge and two more roundabouts).
At the end of the road turn left in the direction of Poggio a Caiano. Carry straight on for about 2 km. until you reach POGGIO A CAIANO. Go past the “PAM” supermarket and then turn right. Go right again at the roundabout. Take the second road on the left, then the second on the right.
