By car
Alta Valtellina is crossed by the SS 38 Stelvio, which climbs the Adda valley from Colico up to the Pass from where its name originates, then descends to Valvenosta. State Road SS3001 ‘del Foscagno’ departs from Bormio towards Livigno.
Those arriving from Northern Europe must go through Munich, Innsbruck, Landeck, Scuol, Zernez, the ‘Munt La Schera’ Tunnel (open every day between 8 AM and 8 PM) and Livigno.
