Hotel Il Nuovo Gabbiano is a welcoming, recently constructed 3 star hotel opposite the small port of Cala Gonone, the well renowned resort in Golfo di Orosei.

Constructed following a project by Mario Spanu - one of the best known artists in Sardinia - it offers, thanks to its excellent location, a unique suggestive view over the surrounding area.

How to reach the hotel

From Olbia

Take the SS127 state road towards Sassari, after approximately 2.5km turn onto the SS131 DCN state road towards Nuoro. Continue for approximately 75km until you reach the exit for the SP38 provincial road towards Orosei - Dorgali.

After approximately 18km, continue on the SS125 state road until you reach Dorgali and once you pass Dorgali, continue straight on the SS125 state road (C.le John Fitzgerald Kennedy), turn left after 6 km on to the SP26.

Go through the tunnel, Cala Gonone is 6km away. When you reach Cala Gonone, follow signs for "Porto" along Via Flumendosa, Via Cristoforo Colombo and Via Amerigo Vespucci.

The hotel is in the port on the right hand side.

From Sassari

Take the SS131 state road towards Sassari for approximately 4 km and take the exit for the SS554 state road towards Quartu Sant'Elena. Continue for approximately 10 km until you reach the SS125 state road, follow this for approximately 180 km. Turn right onto the SP26 provincial road then pass through the tunnel and enter Cala Gonone after 6km. Follow signs for "Porto" along Via Flumendosa, Via Cristoforo Colombo and Via Amerigo Vespucci.

The hotel is in the port on the right hand side.

On request, a taxi - bus service is available from the airport and port to the hotel.
