Hotel La Corte del Sole, Lido Di Noto

The Hotel La Corte del Sole is a very old farmhouse set on the top of a hillock, in front of the unpolluted Vendicari Oasis, in a splendid panoramic position overlooking the sea.

This hotel is the result of a careful restoration on a traditional old Sicilian country house, built at the end of the 1800s.

Particular care was taken in choosing such prestigious materials as the special white stone from Noto, hand made Sicilian terracotta, the Siracusa sandstone and the antique terracotta tiles for the roofs.

The Reception gives access to an internal courtyard where special theme evenings are periodically organized with food and wine tasting, where guests can sample the local dishes and the most prestigious vintage wines from the Sicilian cellars, while listening to music played by local musicians.

The antique oil mill is perfect as a reading room, games room, for watching TV or for meetings.

The swimming pool, which was constructed on a beautiful terrace, overlooks the wonderful natural oasis and is the perfect spot for complete relaxation.

This hotel, in the middle of natural surroundings with flowering almond trees and century old olive trees, offers refined hospitality in warm, friendly, family surroundings, where guests will find the authentic Sicilian atmosphere.

The fine sandy beaches at Vendicari and Cala Mosca are only a few hundred mt away. There is a transfer service for guests to the Marina di Noto Lidi where the hotel has an agreement and our guests can use the beach umbrellas and deck-chairs free of charge.

Sport lovers can hire mountain bikes so they can follow the tracks in the park that lead to the beautiful beaches in the oasis, in wonderful scenarios, rich in history such as the ruins of the ancient city of Eloro.

The hotel has 25 double or matrimonial rooms, some can have a third bed added. They are differently furnished in an original style, some with beams, others with wrought iron beds or Caltagirone ceramics.

The 4 Superior rooms, with their four-poster beds, have an exclusive and refined atmosphere; some rooms have a splendid view of the sea.

All the rooms have heating and air-conditioning, telephone, fridge bar, satellite colour TV and a safety box.
