General Description
The Hotel Locanda Vivaldi was the historic residence of the famous composer Antonio Vivaldi, and is currently a charming, well-cared-for hotel with a private dock on Riva degli Schiavoni, a street full of restaurants and prestigious shops. It is just a short distance away from Piazza San Marco and Ponte dei Sospiri, as well as the San Zaccaria steamboat stop.
Completely renovated, the residence has maintained the original stucco, gilding, marble and antique furniture, creating a timeless atmosphere.
The guest rooms and common areas are enriched with beautiful draperies, oriental carpets and Murano blown glass chandeliers. Some of the rooms also have a lovely view of the lagoon or the canal.

Restaurant and bar
The bar is open from April to October on the beautiful panoramic terrace that overlooks the Venice Lido and Piazza San Marco.
On a summer evening, Ristorante Settimo Cielo, open from May to October, delights guests with delicious traditional recipes, particularly fish specialities.
A delicious buffet breakfast is served each morning from 7:30 to 10:30 in the breakfast room or on the panoramic terrace.

Take the A4 or A27 motorway to the Venezia tollbooth exit and follow the directions for Tronchetto. Cross Ponte della Libertà and park in one of the garages in Piazzale Roma or Piazzale Tronchetto (the hotel has arranged a discount with Garage San Marco).
From Tronchetto, water taxis are available which reach the hotel's private dock in 20 minutes; alternatively, take the steamboat to San Zaccaria (40 minutes away).
By train
From Venice Santa Lucia Station, water taxis are available which reach the hotel's private dock in 20 minutes; alternatively, take the steamboat to San Zaccaria (35 minutes away).
By plane
From Venice Marco Polo Airport, take a private water taxi to the hotel (around 30 minutes away), or take the motorboat shuttle to Piazza San Marco.
