We ate in the restaurant the first two nights of the stay but did not eat there after that. Two issues put us off eating there again....

General Description
Hotel Signum is the result of sympathetic restoration of a group of old Aeolian houses located a short walk from the sea on Salina Island.
Resting in the shadow of two volcanoes, every detail is the fruit of the passion and good taste of the owners of the hotel, also reflected in the way the hotel is run.
Located in a splendid panoramic position and surrounded by the aromatic perfume of citrus orchards and jasmine, the hotel has several areas in which to relax, a well-stocked library, an outdoor swimming pool, a bar, a restaurant and a sunbathing area terrace.

The kitchen is carefully managed by the Chef Patron Michele Caruso who offers guests typical Aeolian dishes using authentic seasonal produce, vegetables and fresh local fish that he selects personally, in warm and welcoming surroundings.
The well-stocked wine cellar offers a selection of 120 Sicilian wines including a small range from Salina and the famous Malvasia.
The warm colours of the sunset and the picturesque eruptions of Stromboli, make an aperitif on the terrace or a candle-lit dinner with delicious Aeolian and Mediterranean dishes a unique occasion.
