Hotel Villa Meligunis is an elegant 18th-century residence located in the historic centre of Lipari in the charming fishing district just a short walk away from the romantic square of Marina Corta.
The hotel is the result of a careful and skilful renovation of a splendid 18th-century villa in the centre of Lipari surrounded by a maze of alleys and small squares.
The hotel has 32 rooms equipped with every modern comfort.
A shuttle bus connects the hotel to the beach of Canneto, 4km away from the centre of Lipari, where sunbeds and umbrellas can be rented.

Restaurant and bar
The restaurant on the hotel terrace enjoys a splendid view of the magnificent castle, the ancient city known to be the home of many civilisations from as far back as six thousand years ago, as evidenced by the numerous archaeological treasures and relics preserved by the archaeological museum, the most important in the Mediterranean.
The restaurant serves typical Aeolian cuisine and is open during the summer months.
Description of Conference and Meeting Facilities
The conference room in Hotel Meligunis measures 150 square metres, has an irregular floor plan and can comfortably accommodate from 100 to 150 people. It has air conditioning and a private entrance.

How to reach the hotel
By boat
The Aeolian Islands in the province of Messina can be reached all year round by taking a hydrofoil boat from the ports of Milazzo, Messina and Reggio Calabria, and by boat from the ports of Milazzo and Naples.
In the summer, hydrofoil boat connections are also available to the ports of Palermo and Naples, Sant’Agata di Militello and Cefalù. The hydrofoil boats connect Lipari all year to Vulcano and Salina with several trips daily. Panarea, Stromboli, Filicudi and Alicudi can be reached from Lipari twice a day in the winter, while in the summer, there are several trips daily.
Vehicles can be taken on the Siremar ferryboats from the port of Naples.
From Sicily, vehicles can be take on the Società Siremar and Navigazione Generale Italiana ferries from Milazzo.
By train
The local railway station is Milazzo station, which has connections to Messina and Palermo.
By plane
