Dall'autostrada A18 Catania - Messina prendere l'uscita Giarre, svoltare a sinistra in Via Luminaria SP4 in direzione Giarre - SS114. All'incrocio con la SS114 Viale Don Luigi Sturzo svoltare a destra in direzione Catania, dopo circa1,9 km, giunti in località San Leonardello di Giarre, svoltare a sinistra sulla SP91 in direzione Carruba - Torre Archirafi.

Superare la località Carruba e dopo 2,2 km raggiungere il bivio con la Strada 4 (S.P.2 I-II).
