General Description
The Ognina Residence is a luxurious hotel that was created from the skillful renovation of an historic building dating back to the early 1900s and is located in the marine village of the same name, which is situated along the seafront of Catania.
Ideal for a holiday of complete comfort and relaxation, the Ognina Residence offers a refined atmosphere featuring modern comforts and quality services that are able to satisfy any type of clientele from the tourist in search of amusement to the business traveler in town for work.
Guests can enjoy 6 bright and inviting mini-apartments which are found in a splendid panoramic location with respect to the bay dominated by Etna.
Personal, group and enogastronomic tours can be organised upon request. There is also the possibility of car hire (with pick-up and drop-off in various cities of Sicily) as well as rubber boat rental.
Reservations for scuba diving courses with expert divers can also be arranged.
Located just a short distance from the city centre, the Ognina Residence enjoys all of the urban and extra-urban transit connections, is adjacent to the ring road (with motorway and airport connections) and is extremely close to the Le Ciminiere exhibition neighbourhood.
The reception is open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00, excluding holidays.
Guests wishing to check in outside of this time frame should request to do so when making a reservation.

The Ognina Residence has 6 very bright and inviting mini-apartments, the names of which were inspired by the personalities of the Odyssey.
All the apartments are divided into 4 one-roomed flats with a “living area” and loft “night area,” and 2 two-roomed flats on a single level.
Among the features included are: balcony, fully equipped kitchen, en-suite bathroom with washing machine, two plasma colour TVs, DVD player, autonomous climate control system, anti-theft device, safe-deposit box, Internet connection, video surveillance and independent intercom.

The "Antica Borgata" restaurant, which takes its name from the caverns located in the elegant gardens, proposes savoury specialities with a base of freshly caught seafood which are served on the ample veranda located on the small piazza of the port.
