From the A11 motorway, take the Lucca Est exit. Continue along Viale Europa, go past the viaduct over the railway line and turn left on the road that follows the city wall.
Enter into the historic centre through the S. Maria entrance, turn right immediately and continue to the beginning of Via Battisti.
By train
From the Lucca railway station, turn left and continue straight towards the underpass. Turn right at the traffic light, then turn onto Viale Europa. Go past the viaduct over the railway line and then turn left again on the road that follows the city wall.
