La Locanda Il Principato di Ariis sorge nel mezzo del verde dell'omonima località, nel comune di Rivignano, a metà strada fra la spiaggia di Lignano Sabbiadoro e il capoluogo friulano.
La struttura ricettiva nasce con l'idea di trasmettere tranquillità e la tipica familiarità di questa terra, in un ambiente attorniato da una splendida natura con acqua, alberi e fiori, animali da cortile e persone semplici e genuine.
Gli ospiti vengono accolti in ambienti dove alle pareti sono appese opere originali che gli artisti, a cui è dedicata la stanza, hanno donato al Principe Fernando I.

L’antica locanda “Da Gallici”, operativa già dal 1413, dispone di quattro sale con capienza massima di 200 persone, alcune piccole e riservate per cene a lume di candela, altre ideali per eventi come cerimonie nuziali, battesimi, comunioni e cresime, feste aziendali e riunioni, altre ancora che si affacciano al giardino interno, tranquille e fresche d’estate.
La cucina propone pasta fatta in casa, pane e grissini caserecci, dolci prelibati e dessert al piatto, antipasti sfiziosi di affettati, verdure e formaggi, carni alla griglia di manzo, toro, puledro, cinghiale, cervo, maiale, vitello e pollo.
Quattro sono i menu degustazione che, in base alla stagione, vengono proposti e che facilitano al cliente la scelta tra le tantissime proposte di pietanze presenti in menu.
La carta dei vini, con circa 80 etichette, predilige i vini rossi di tutto il Friuli, ma dà uno sguardo anche alle regioni vicine e a quelle del Sud Italia.
