General Description
Villa Rizzo Resort & Spa is a historic estate run by the Rizzo family surrounded by the beauty of the countryside at the gates of Cilento, in a convenient location close to Salerno, Positano, Amalfi, Sorrento, Naples and Paestrum. It is located between the sea and the lush greenery of Giffoni, which is famous for its film festival.
Recently renovated, the resort consists of three buildings: Casa Padronale (the manor house), Antico Ricovero degli Attrezzi (the antique tool shed) and Vecchio Essiccatoio del Tabacco (the old tobacco drying kiln), which house 16 elegantly decorated guest rooms with period furnishings, all providing modern and functional comforts.
The resort also has a swimming pool with a solarium, a bar, a restaurant and a brand new health centre.
The Hotel Villa Rizzo is very well connected by both public and private transportation to the railway stations of Naples, Salerno and Pontecagnano, as well as to the airports of Salerno and Capodichino. It is also an ideal place from which to explore the sea, the history, and the fascinating sites that this area has to offer.
