Reviews Ostia Antica Park Hotel & Spa - Rome

The local bus service was ok on certain days but when we were leaving we waited over 45 minutes in searing heat for buses that were scheduled every 15 minutes. Eventually we had to move back to the hotel to order a cab to the airport which, for an approximately 15 minute journey cost 35 Euro - a little excessive, perhaps, because we were in a somewhat isolated location for transport services to the airport. Our plan was to take the bus to Osita main bus station and then catch a bus to the airport. This was a cheaper alternative but as no buses turned up to take us to Ostia we had to pay an excessive amount to get to the airport. However, the hotel is a good one and we would consider using it again as our friends live in Osita Antica itself. Oh, and the scheduled hotel transit service to the airport was too limited in its hours of operation and didn't suit our flight times. Other wise the cost would have been 15 Euros - a much more acceptable rate. Apart from these quibbles the hotel gets a thumbs up (in the Roman tradition) from us.

La camera ci è piaciuta,era esteticamente migliore di come l'abbiamo vista nelle foto sul sito web dell'hotel, la pulizia buona, ma i materassi sono molto vecchi e molto scomodi, abbiamo riposato molto male e per due giorni abbiamo sofferto dolori, insonorizzazione della camera pessima e il box doccia con la tendina..con regolare allagamento del pavimento nonostante le dovute attenzioni, fastidioso. Peccato, perchè l'Hotel nel complesso merita, ma svegliarsi la mattina con le ossa a pezzi per colpa dei materassi non è accettabile. Non credo che torneremo più all'Ostia Antica Park Hotel.
