Residenza d'Arte, Poggio Madonna Dell'olivo

The Residenza d'Arte is an antique stone structure of the 14th Century located in the community of Torrita di Siena on a splendid hill that is surrounded by hundred year old cypress and olive trees.

A short distance from Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano and Cortona, it represents the ideal solution for a regenerative holiday discovering interesting cultural, artistic and enogastronomic locations within the territory.

The Reception opens out to an ample salon with antique ceiling beams and stone walls in which there are plays of chrome together with numerous pictorial and sculptural works of art that envelop the environment, making it magical and particular.

An extremely original gazebo is connected to the principal cypress garden in which it is possible to enjoy breakfast on beautiful days.

For moments of relaxation, guests can recharge themselves in the splendid flower garden, Solarium with sun beds and deck chairs in wicker, or on the upper balcony with its break-taking views of Torrita di Siena and the surrounding countryside.

The rooms are all decorated differently from one another in form and figure, painted in warm colours and feature wood beams, fireplaces, arches and old walls in stone that were brought back to their antique splendour by a careful restoration.

The careful design and the significant contemporary works of art create a particular alignment between antique poetry and modern comforts.

The Suites are particularly spacious and comfortable with independent entrances, ample living area with sofas, colour TV and refrigerated mini-bar, double sized beds in the bedroom and a bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

All of the rooms have stone walls and the original exposed wood beam ceilings from the 13th Century and all are decorated with antique furnishings and design, and embellished with contemporary art paintings and sculptures.
