From the A12 Livorno - Genova motorway, take the exit for Brugnato - Borghetto Vara. Take the SS1 state road following the signs for Cinque Terre. At the junction for Pian di Barca, turn right and continue straight on for 4 km.

By train

The nearest train station is Monterosso or Levanto. Continue towards Pignone with one of the suburban buses.

By bus

From La Spezia, take a suburban bus towards Faggiona which passes through Pignone.

During the summer there are regular connections between Pignone and the seaside towns of Monterosso al Mare and Levanto courtesy of the ATC line buses.
