Charming and picturesque Trevignano is reachable in less than 10 minutes by car as is the magnificent Odescalchi Castle on Lake Bracciano, Viterbo, Tarquinia and Vulci.

The Torre di Pietra Castle is also worth a visit with its characteristic wine cellar carved in to the porous rock as is the Santa Severa Castle: permanent seat of the school dedicated to restoration in the Lazio region.

The centre of Rome is reachable in 45 minutes by car and a little longer with public transport.

From the motorways, take the "Grande Raccordo Anulare" and take the exit for GRA Boccea / Casalotti, then continue for 8km towards Casalotti until you reach the 14,200th kilometre marker. Relais Castrum Boccea is situated on the SS 27 Mario e Marta state road - 00166 Rome. Guests are advised to insert "Via Boccea number 1460" if using a sat nav.

By train

From Rome Termini train station, take a taxi or continue with underground line A to the Battistini stop and then continue by bus to Casalotti, then take bus 025. There are frequent trains from Cesano station to San Pietro - journey time is only 25 minutes.

By plane
